Lunar Photo Op

Thanks to Cat5 for pointing out that there is a October Lunar Eclipse on the 27th. Break out the cameras! Note: Yup, wrong date, thanks.

I might be mistaken, but didn't the article says on the 27th of October? I think the October 13 is the date the article was written.

"Oct. 27th. At first it will seem pale and cold, as usual. And then ... blood red.

It's a lunar eclipse. Beginning at 9:14 p.m. EDT (6:14 p.m. PDT), the moon will glide through Earth's shadow for more than three hours."
