GNOME 2.10 Splash Screen Chosen

The splash screen contest has chosen the new splash screen for GNOME 2.10. Looks pretty good, not flashy, not boring....

I gotta say... of all the entries, that's definitely one of the weaker ones. I thought there were several entries that looked much better than what they chose.

There's a lot of other nice entries too. Splash screems containing shades of blue still seem to be the most popular.

A lot of people didn't like this one actually. The general idea is that it doesn't appeal to users so much as developers....
