Vista Screenshots

For those interested in Windows longhorn Vista, here are some screenshots posted. Shows some of the UI changes (anyone know if this is avalon finally, or just something they've thrown on until things are ready in a year or whatever?), new start menu with search integrated, virtual folders, and some of the new explorer features (looks cluttered, but I'll give it try and see how it is).

It's just so very hideous... and whose bright idea was it to make the window controls transparent?

But transparency is *coooooool*! Don't you know anything silly designer boy, listen to Bill, he knows all.

The silly thing is, what's the first thing your going to do when you start Vista? Disable the transparency and half of the pretty shit.

Funny thing is Mac OS X is out now and looks way way better. Vista? What the hell? Is it bottled water? Call it something nerdy, techy and cool like Axion or ...or anything but VISTA?
