Amazing Explanations for ESP Experiment

I'm constantly amazed at people who believe insanely crazy explanations when they don't understand something. I admit that when I first saw this "ESP" page ages ago, I was amazed as well. However, I wasn't spouting off about parallell universes or alien devices or the untamed power of the mind....

For those who don't know/aren't sure about "ESP," it can well be a gift given by God that the recipient hasn't learned how to cultivate because the maturing of gifts take time or it can be the involvement of a familiar spirit in one's life.

A familiar spirit is a lying demon and can't be trusted and the person with such a spirit needs to turn to the Lord Jesus in faith, consume the Word of God and repent for your involvement with evil spirits.

If it is a gift of God, "ESP" isn't it's proper name and likewise, one needs to diligently seek God in His Word, in faith (because without faith it is impossible to please Him) and trust Him to show you what the gift is, how to develop the gift and how to use it for His glory and other's benefit.

Of course, I understand that this will irritate, annoy and offend some, but that's because they don't love the Lord Jesus Christ. (The devil is a *mean* devil and doesn't like people exposing him)

I made the above remark knowing nothing about the site in question. I then went to it and found it very entertaining. It took me a few minutes to realize how he did it and now I see why no one comments on it here.

So you just came to spread the Good Word? How do you know that ESP isn't a trick from the devil btw?

Personally I'm just amused at all the idiots who don't understand something and immediately assume divine intervention, esp, multiple parallel quantum voyages of the soul backwards in time and the like.

Also there are comments on the other story linked on this site where it's explained how it is done.

I figured out the trick on that page quickly - he just replaces all of the cards so that no matter which card you choose, it's gone.

Now, in regards to Mannaman - wow, what an odd comment to make; do you regard everything through the lens of god/devil? I suppose any not-glowing response to your comment will be inspired by the devil, and thus simple for you to ignore (thus reinforcing your own, biased beliefs).

ESP, in case you weren't aware, stands for Extra Sensory Perception -- in short, the ability of a person or persons to perceive the world around them through an additional sense. We know that other animals have senses we do not, such as a dolphin's use of echolocation, or a snake's (oh damn - there's the devil again) ability to sense the world around it through its tongue (a combination of taste, touch, and smell). Is it therefore so far-fetched that some humans could evolve (sorry, I mean "have God-given") senses that others do not?

Medieval prophets had senses we did not - the ability to enter into a vision-state to receive the word of God and commune with Christ and Mary. Were these prophets agents of the devil? Certainly the people and clergy of the time did not think so. The Catholics made a saint of Hildegard of Bingen, who had vivid, detailed visions of heaven and hell, and the writings of prophets such as Julian of Norwich and Anna Trapnel were and are highly regarded in religious teachings.

And I would remind you that the Old Testament God was a very *mean* God, who didn't like to be questioned. Just ask Moses, who was led on a 40-year trek through the desert, or Noah, who watched God destroy the world, or Abraham, who was told to sacrifice his own son.

My favorite--- It can follow my eye movement. Hysterical.
