Here's a CPU Comparison at AnandTech which compares framerates on various CPUs. The top of the chart is dominated by AMD64 CPUs. Hmm..... anyone spare a (few) dollas? :)
Actually my XP2600+ seems to run it just fine, but I'm sure it could be even better....
