Two bits of mac news for the price of one!

iTunes 8.1 "Coming Soon". Claims to have a speed boost for large libraries (yay) and to have expanded the Genius feature for movies and TV shows (meh).
If you haven't seen the new iPod Shuffle you haven't read your RSS feeds yet this morning. Smaller form factor (didn't realize that was possible), 4G of storage, and the new "VoiceOver" functionality which will speak you the name of the current Artist/Song as well as the playlist (of which you can have several now). At $79 that's not bad. I like that they're putting more functionality into the shuffle still.

I also note they waited until after this week's MacBreak Weekly to announce these things. I'll bet Leo is pissed about that :)
