GNOME: The Free Software Desktop has finally after a few delays, actually released GNOME 3.0. Wow, that's a long time coming, I remember the discussions starting about this .... well, one of the first references I could find was a newsgroup post from 2001. Anyway:
Huge congrats to the GNOME team, I can't wait to get this going!
