An Introduction to Firebird (the database)

The Linux Journal has anice Introduction to the Firebird Database. Sounds like it's pretty good, and on par with Oracle for some features. It'd be nice to see some benchmarks or feature to feature comparisions with PostgreSQL and MySQL though.
