Today is normally a day to avoid the internet entirely, but I did venture out and find a couple of cool things. I'll try to catalog the good stuff as I find it.

• - Youtube now has a text mode to allow you to view videos in the normal mode, HD, and now text mode. Sadly only on some.
  
• The aforementioned XKCD text mode.
  
• Glen "The Raptor" talks about Windows 3.1.
  
• Slashdot Roulette has been introduced.
  
• The iPad Cabinet from thinkgeek.
  
• Google Street view in 3d.
  
• Kernel.org is upside down.
  
• LHC / Doctor Who tie in. (These last two from @milesforrest.
  
• Google's new measurements on search time.
  
• VimCasts has some cleanup.
  
• Not sure if it's an AFJ or not, but Shot of Jaq's Text Editor Showdown was 100% accurate.
  
• Battle.net matchmaking.
