Canon 5D Mark II vs. Mark III vs. Nikon D800 High-ISO Video

Pretty amazing vide of the Canon 5D Mark II vs. Mark III vs. Nikon D800 under candlelight shot at alternating higher and higher ISO.

A couple of interesting things to note.

• It’s interesting that either the ISO sensitivity is higher on the Nikon or something is off, as it is letting in about a stop or 2 more light (at least it looks like that visually).
• The 5D Mark 3 looks like it’s doing a lot more noise reduction at higher ISO (looking at detail in the lashes vs the Nikon). That said….
• HOLY CRAP is the response I had at the video from the 5Dm3 at high ISO. It maintains the “not high ISO” look amazingly well.
