Galaxy Quest Yes, a hugely high rating went to this movie. Starring (among others) Tim Allen, Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver (who looks quite good as a blonde by the way) as the stars of a cancelled cult classic TV show. Basically the movie makes fun of Trekkies, Trekkers, B5 fans, and any sci-fi con attending people. That's ok though. I'm one of these people and I laughed my ass off. The show is about the stars getting accidently caught up in interstellar war after a far off planet adopts the society they see in TV show broadcasts of Galaxy Quest after thinking them to be "Historical Documents". A semi-predictable plotline ensues, with the expected ups, downs and sideways jerks in the plot. That is not to say that the movie is formula by any means, it just has the same ups and downs.

I'm not going to say a whole lot about this movie except that the acting was great (I loved Rickman and the stoned guy was hilarious), the special effects were great, and the laughs were huge. Go see it.
